Herbal Tea

Herbal tea, also known as tisane, is not really "tea". It is not made from the Camilla sinensis plant.
Herbal or Wellness teas are usually made from dried herbs, spices, fruits and nuts. They are enjoyed for their taste and their medicinal properties, anecdotes or Grandma's remedy, whatever you may call it, herbal tisanes have been around for centuries.

The most commonly known/used herbal teas are:

Chamomile - used to promote sleep, relaxation
Mints - soothe upset stomach
Rose hips - high in vitamin C and antioxidants
Rooibos - antioxidants
Nettle - anti inflammatory properties
Ginger - nausea, inflammation, help with the common cold
Hibiscus - high in vitamin C, bioflavonoids
Elderberry - overall respiratory health, flu, allergies
